Dr. Jim Franks of the Gulf Coast Research Lab (GCRL) will be our guest speaker on March 10th, 6 PM, at the OSYC.  Jim is the authority on coastal fishes of the Gulf of Mexico and has written numerous scientific articles.  His research has been sponsored by national agencies; he has been named Mississippi's Conservationist of the Year, an award given by the Mississippi Wildlife Federation.  Jim will speak on Tarpon, tell us when and where we may catch them, he will also update us on the GRCL's Tagging Programs.
