FELLOW HOSSFLYERS

 

 We have a very active month coming up in HOSSFLY.   Although I have sent you an email I want you to have additional reference for our activities.  Here they are:

 

    1.  October 8, 2009.    Casting Mentoring Program at Hiller Park, 5:30 PM.  We will concentrate on the single an double haul as well as casts in the wind from all directions and the "Salt Water Quick Cast" and Belgian Casts.  Hope you and any HOSSFLY  members who would like, will attend.

 

    2.  October 10, 2009:  We will have  a Fish Fry at the OSYC.  The OSYC is gracious enough to allow us to hold our meetings at their facility and we are doing this to help them.  Turn about is fair play.  Please bring fish fillets, appetizers and deserts - OSYC  will furnish the rest of the meal.  Bob will need cooks and servers and would like you to be there at 2:30 PM.  Please help.

 

    3.  October 14, 2009:  HOSSFLY Club Meeting at OSYC. 

 

    4.  October 17, 2009:  Beach Cleanup.  Bob would like members who have boats to be at the OS Small Craft Harbor at 7:30 AM that day.  Those who may not have a boat can hitch a ride, just inform Bob and he will help you find a ride.  Don't forget to bring beach chairs as we will have chicken and beverages available.  Also don't forget your fishing tackle.  The Cleanup usually doesn't take over an  hour.

 

    5.  Fly Tying:  Mike Sharpe will hold another class in fly tying at the OSYC at 6 PM on October 22nd.  Don't miss it.  There will be more information about this later.
